We wanted to let you know about a fun event to add to your summer calendar. On August 9th, the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust will be hosting a live music event. Please read below for more information:
Fundraising is an important element for HHLT to be able to maintain and protect our properties. Last year’s ‘Rock our World!’ – fundraising dance was a great success. We will hosting our 2nd annual event at the Haliburton Legion, on Friday August 9th, featuring live entertainment, starting with local band Nick & Benton and then headliner Jamie Williams Entertainment.
HHLT has recently been hosting guided hiking events on our newest land acquisition, Barnum Creek Nature Reserve. Our fundraising efforts, in part, go towards preparing this gem of a property to be open to the public. It is in the need of signage, parking and creek crossings; a large undertaking for HHLT’s team of volunteers and members.
